Despite one man moving on up while the other is steadily going down, as far as wins and losses are concerned, Derek Brunson and Dan Kelly have been added to the upcoming UFC Fight night 110 event, which is slated for June 10, 2017 in Auckland, New Zealand.
Brunson is fresh off a unanimous decision loss to Anderson Silva at UFC 208 a few weeks ago, marking his second straight defeat after getting knocked out by Robert Whittaker.
The pair of losses come after Derek scored five straight wins.
As for Kelly, he is coming off the biggest win of his UFC career, defeating former Light Heavyweight champion, Rashad Evans, at UFC 209 (see it). The win was Kelly’s fourth straight.
The pairing, while intriguing, is rather odd due to their aforementioned respective winning and losing streaks. Nevertheless, the bout should be a good one, and another solid addition to an event that will be headlined by a hard-hitting Heavyweight showdown that will see Mark Hunt face Derrick Lewis.
