Video: Zhang Chunyu lands epic mid-air elbow knockout at Kunlun Fight 59

The combat gods gave fight fans something to gawk over earlier today (Sat., Mar. 25, 2017) at Kunlun Fight 59 from inside the Mangrove Tree International Conference Center in Sanya, Hainan, China, when Chinese fighter Zhang Chunyu scored a ridiculous second-round TKO win over American Gladstone Allen.

In the below video courtesy of @Jolassanda, Chunya can be seen flying in with what looks to be a superman punch. But at the last second, he switches it up to a mid-air elbow, lands it flush on an entering Allen and successfully pulls off one of the more unique stoppages you’ll ever see as both fighters fall to the canvas.

Gladstone was slow to get up and for good reason. The shot came out of nowhere and simply crumbled him. We can all thank Chunya for temporarily satisfying our insatiable appetite for destruction on this rather slow fight weekend.
