Bellator 180 poster for Sonnen vs Silva, Fedor vs Mitrione released

Bellator 180: “Sonnen vs. Silva” takes place at Madison Square Garden in New York, N.Y., on June 24, 2017, featuring the grudge match years in the making between the self-proclaimed “American Gangster” Chael Sonnen against “The Axe Murderer” Wanderlei Silva in the pay-per-view (PPV) main event of the evening.

Looking at the poster, though, one might wonder who Silva is challenging at the show, Chael Sonnen or Fedor Emelianenko, who fights Matt Mitrione in the night’s co-main event.

Nevertheless, Bellator 180 has also picked up a pair of title fights as Michael Chandler will defend his Lightweight crown against the undefeated Brent Primus, while “The Phenom” Douglas Lima defends his Welterweight title against recent Bellator signee Lorenz Larkin.
