Video: Heavily-medicated Stephen Thompson is ‘feeling good’ after undergoing successful knee surgery

Former two-time Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Welterweight title contender Stephen Thompson recently underwent surgery to repair the meniscus in his right kne,e a few weeks removed from his rematch against Tyron Woodley at UFC 209 in Las Vegas, Nevada (see it).

“Wonderboy” -- who was still heavily medicated -- took to Instagram to proclaim that the surgery was indeed a success with a rather hilarious video post.

But was it funnier than this?

“Wonderboy” will likely be on the mend for a bit before he can step foot back inside the Octagon in an attempt to get back to a world title, possibly even a trilogy fight against “The Chosen One.”

He’ll have some work to do in and out of the cage before he can secure himself another shot at the strap. Anyone care to throw out a couple of suggestions for Thompson’s welcome back fight?
