Welcome to Midnight Mania! Tonight, we’ve got retired former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) women’s Bantamweight champion Miesha Tate giving her thoughts on participating in WWE, United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) mistaking Tom Lawler for Robbie Lawler, Derrick Lewis excited about his fight with Mark Hunt, another mass brawl on the Caucasus mixed martial arts (MMA) scene, videos, knockouts, podcasts, and much more. In addition, a Maniac shares how MMAMania.com brought him to the girl he’s engaged to.

Insomnia

Miesha Tate has it all. Talent, good looks, a resume as both a Strikeforce and UFC champion, and a high-profile job as a studio commentator, honing her skills on the mic. Now, she is looking for her next adventure and is seemingly up for anything. Anything that sounds fun, that is. According to FoxSports.com, her definition of fun includes a possible appearance in WWE.

At a Q&A in London, Miesha was asked about it and she appeared very open to the idea.

“I would love to. It would be fun. I would love to. I’m open to all kinds of things like that. It would be a lot of fun.”

Tate’s rival Ronda Rousey, of course, is no stranger to WWE, appearing at Wrestlemania in 2015 to great effect (view from 1:18 in the video below).

Could these two UFC female legends meet in the ring someday?

Bobs and Weaves

I’m not the only one who gets confused. USADA (or possibly UFC) addressed “Filthy” Tom Lawlor as Robbie Lawler in a recent email regarding athlete whereabouts.

Derrick Lewis is stoked about his upcoming match-up with Mark Hunt, which is set to headline a June 10, 2017, card. This is how stoked:

My next opponent is Mark Hunt in New Zealand June 10th

Nate Diaz, setting the record straight.

Stipe Miocic has no shortage of desire

Has “Uncle Creepy” finally found love? He thinks so!

“War Machine,” a piece of trash human being by all legal accounts, was found guilty of nearly all the abuse charges leveled against him by Christie Mack. The attempted murder charges didn’t go through, however, resulting in a hung jury. I wonder how prison will treat him this time around.

There was another mass brawl in Dagestan.

John Dodson has some crazy, but appropriate, dreams at night.

Cub Swanson is in the same boat ahead of his headlining bout opposite Artem Lobov.

Angela Hill got the dream care package. I guess Street Fighter did take care of her.

Yeah, still the most impressive sequence of the weekend

This is a wild fight

Top Fan Post

The top Fanpost of the day has to go to this one by A.K, who describes how MMAMania.com led to him meeting the love of his life and moving out of frozen North Dakota to be with her. Now they are engaged. Life is crazy, sometimes it is beautiful, and their story makes me happy.
