Bellator 175: “Rampage vs. King Mo 2” heads to Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Ill., on March 31, 2017, featuring a Spike TV-televised Heavyweight rematch in the main event between Quinton “Rampage” Jackson and Muhammed "King Mo" Lawal. The initial grudge match between “Rampage” and "King Mo" was the mixed martial arts (MMA) promotion’s first and only pay-per-view (PPV) to date on May 17, 2014. Even though Lawal felt both then (and now) that he out-wrestled Jackson, the judges awarded the latter a unanimous decision (29-28).
Bellator recently announced Spike TV’s main card line up, which is set to begin at 9 p.m. ET on fight night, as well as the “Prelims” undercard. Former UFC Featherweight Noad Lahat (10-2) will look to take the momentum gained in his successful Bellator debut and continue it against Lloyd Carter (10-8). Joining them on the live broadcast will be two Lightweights with only one loss between them — the undefeated Steve Kozola (7-0) and his opponent Jake Roberts (7-1) — each hoping to move one step closer to fighting division champion “Iron” Michael Chandler.
Roberts is on the comeback trail after seeing his unbeaten streak broken by Carrington Banks in a unanimous decision at Bellator 165 in San Jose, Calif., but “Thunderbeast” Kozola won’t make it easy with four first round knockouts in his last five fights.
