Gennady Golovkin returns to the squared circle this Saturday night (March 18, 2017) inside the world-famous Madison Square Garden Arena in New York City. That’s where he’ll attempt to secure yet another highlight-reel knockout against fellow WBA champion Danny Jacobs.

“Daniel, he’s a huge fighter. He’s good boxer, and he has power, he has boxing IQ,” Golovkin told ESPN (via Bad Left Hook). “This is very big test for us, and for me. Daniel, he’s strong and very good fighter. Just I have a little bit extra.”
“A lot of people don’t know Danny Jacobs, he’s a gentleman out of the ring and when that first bell rings he becomes a monster,” said longtime coach Andre Rozier (via Boxing Junkie). “I know that this fight will put Danny in the history books. I’ve known him since he 14 years old and he’s never, ever disappointed me and I don’t expect him to disappoint me on March 18.
