HBO Boxing has put together another can’t-miss pay-per-view (PPV) event this weekend (Sat., March 18, 2017). And you won’t even have to miss UFC Fight Night 107 to watch it. But first, the fighters have got to weigh in ... and we’ve got the goods.
Gennady “GGG” Golovkin takes center stage in Madison Square Garden in New York, N.Y., as he looks for his 24th consecutive knockout against fellow WBA champion Danny Jacobs. In addition, arguable pound-for-pound kingpin Roman Gonzalez looks to continue his reign in a fourth weight class against the heavy hands of Srisaket Sor Rungvisai. The HBO Boxing PPV opens with Gonzalez’s former — and probable future — opponent, Carlos Cuadras, against David Carmona.
The first fighter is expected to tip the scales at 9 a.m. ET.
Middleweight: Gennady Golovkin (159.6) vs. Daniel Jacobs (159.8)
Super Flyweight: Roman Gonzalez (114.6) vs. Srisaket Sor Rungvisai (114)
Super Flyweight: Carlos Cuadras (115.6) vs. David Carmona (115.8)
Remember, MMA Mania will have LIVE coverage of “Golovkin vs. Jacobs” tomorrow night, starting with the HBO Boxing PPV broadcast at 9 p.m. ET. We will also have a link to the live undercard, which features Irish fan favorite Andy Lee, among others.
