UFC Europe: Scotland, Netherlands, and Poland on tap for 2017

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is carving out its European schedule for the remainder of the year, recently announcing live mixed martial arts (MMA) events for Glasgow, Scotland inside SSE Arena (Sun., July 16), Rotterdam, Netherlands at Rotterdam Ahoy (Sat., Sept. 2) and Gdańsk, Poland, inside Ergo Arena (Sat., Oct. 21).

Expect said events to air on either FOX Sports 1 or UFC Fight Pass.

“Europe remains an incredibly important market for our business and has been key to the international growth we’ve seen in recent years,” said Joe Carr, Senior Vice President, UFC International and Content.

“It was only right that we committed to delivering these three events in the region in 2017,” he continued. “Our debut events in Glasgow and Rotterdam not only sold out, but were among the most successful that we held in 2015 and 2016 respectively, so the decision to return to those cities was an easy one for us.”
