Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) President Dana White heard the reports that reigning lightweight titleholder Conor McGregor, who obtained his boxing license earlier this year, is locked into a June 10 showdown against pugilistic legend Floyd Mayweather Jr. (more on that story here).
Safe to say he’s not impressed.
Re reports circulating that Mayweather-McGregor fight is made, relax. Per Dana White, "Soooooooooo far from being made."

"There is no target date whatsoever,” White told TMZ in regards to a mixed martial arts (MMA) vs. boxing crossover fight in Las Vegas, Nevada, which some insiders speculate could be the most profitable combat sports bout of all time.
Though it may be hard to beat this number.
This is not the first time White denied the Mayweather-McGregor publicity stunt rumors, but for some reason they just won’t die. That means something is indeed in the works for later this year, or this industry has become so pathetic that fantasy fights across two different disciplines are the only way to move the needle.
Maybe both.
