UFC Fight Night 107 live results stream, 'Manuwa vs Anderson' play-by-play updates

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) returns to action this Saturday (March 18, 2017) inside O2 Arena in London, England, for the UFC Fight Night 107: "Manuwa vs. Anderson" mixed martial arts (MMA) event.

In the Fight Pass-exclusive headliner, scheduled for five rounds, UFC light heavyweight contenders Jimi Manuwa and Corey Anderson will bang it out to separate contender from pretender.

Meanwhile, in the welterweight co-main event, Alan Jouban and Gunnar Nelson collide for a spot in the 170-pound title chase, while Brad Pickett throws leather for the final time in his combat sports career.

Round 1: Anderson light on his feet, Manuwa patiently moving forward. Jab from Manuwa. Manuwa stuffs a telegraphed shot. Good body shot. One minute in. Head kick blocked. Anderson with a two-piece and a faked takedown. Anderson shoots off a body kick, stuffed. Two minutes in. 1-2 from Anderson. Manuwa stuffs another takedown. Quick little left hook by Anderson, then a lead right. Uppercut dings Anderson and Manuwa sleeps him with a monster left hook.

Final result: Manuwa def. Anderson by KO (punch)


170 lbs.: Alan Jouban vs. Gunnar Nelson

Round 1: Low kick from Jouban. Again. Another one and Nelson rushes in, tying up on the fence. One minute in. They separate. They trade punches and briefly clinch. Jouban tries a head kick. Body kick from Jouban two minutes in. More leg kicks by Jouban. Nelson rushes in for another takedown attempt. Good balance from Jouban, but Nelson drives through and puts him on his back. Right into side control goes Nelson. Two minutes to go.

Full mount for Gunnar with ninety seconds to work. One minute to go. Nelson looking for the arm triangle. Hard elbow. Jouban survives to the bell. 10-9 Nelson.

Round 2: Body kick and a heavy combination from Jouban as Nelson throws back. Right hand buckles Jouban and Nelson snaps him down, latching onto a vicious guillotine for the tap.

135 lbs.: Brad Pickett vs. Marlon Vera

Round 1: Body kick from Vera. Again and a straight left behind it. They tie up and Pickett looks for a takedown. He completes the double-leg into side control. One minute in. Vera scrambles up and they separate. Counter 2-3 by Pickett. Inside low kick from Vera. Pickett’s punches finding their mark. Two minutes in. Straight left by Vera. Left hook and leg kick. Pickett looking for the overhand right. Two minutes to go.

Low leg kick from Pickett. Hard knee by Vera, Pickett eats it and comes back with a left hook. Counter left hook drops Vera as he jumps in for a knee. He pops up and retreats, eating a right hook and sprawling on a shot. Elbows by Vera land to the forehead. Pickett goes low-high with a minute to go. Knee by Vera. Good exchange near the fence. Body kicks by Vera before the bell, eats an overhand right. 10-9 Pickett.

Round 2: Vera opens with a low kick. Left hook by Picket. Knee lands for Vera. Leg kick. Head kick attempt, counter left lands. Good knee and Pickett comes back with hooks. Pickett shoots, tries a lift but can’t get it. One minute in. He goes for a more traditional double-leg finish and completes it into half guard. Butterfly guard now. Pickett looking for elbows. Two minutes in. More elbows by “One Punch”. Two minutes to go.

More elbows from Pickett, looking to pass. Illegal upkicks by Vera, but the ref lets them slide and he scrambles up. Overhand right by Pickett. Low kick lands. One minute to go. Vera gets a response with some inside leg kicks. 2-3 from Pickett as Vera chips away with kicks. 10-9 Pickett.

Round 3: 1-2s from Vera. Flying knee lands up the middle. Another hard knee. Very picking at him with kicks and elbows. Pickett with some low kicks. One minute in. LEg kick by Vera, left hook by Pickett. Good leg kick and left cross by Vera, doing very good work this round. Pickett to the body, eats a hard leg kick and combination two minutes in. More left hands from Vera. Pickett looks for a counter uppercut. Good leg kick by Vera. Elbow met by a Pickett overhand right. Two minutes to go.

Pickett with some combination work. Straight left by Vera. HUGE head kick flattens Pickett, who seems to wake up in the followup shots. It’s not good enough for the ref, though.

145 lbs.: Arnold Allen vs. Makwan Amirkhani

Round 1: Amirkhani comes out with a flying something that Allen avoids. Amirkhani shoots, Allen immediately pops up. Nice throw from Amirkhani into side control. Allen scrambles up and Amirkhani threatens with a guillotine. They scramble and Amirkhani adjusts the grip, ultimately settling for the front headlock. Allen gets his head free and takes Amirkhani down. Two minutes in. Knees from Allen in half guard. Solid ground-and-pound. These are sneaky knees. Two minutes to go.

Amirkhani makes his way to the feet and changes levels, completing a single-leg. Allen uses a butterfly hook to stand and looks for a takedown in return. Knees from Allen. One minute to go. Amirkhani reverses position on the fence. Referee breaks them up. Allen walks into a right hand, lands a 1-2 in return. Amirkhani shoots and gets clipped by a combination in the waning seconds. 10-9 Allen.

Round 2: Amirkhani catches a kick and shoots right away, scoring a takedown and transitioning to the front headlock. Amirkhani rolls for an anaconda choke, can’t get it or the armbar he tries to transition to. Allen on top in half guard one minute in. Solid ground-and-pound by “Almighty” and he takes mount. Amirkhani regains half guard. Two minutes in. Elbows by Allen. Amirkhani makes it to his feet with two minutes to go.

Amirkhani marching forward. He shoots from way too far out and Allen looks for a ten-finger guillotine. Amirkhani scrambles through into half guard. One minute to go. Allen regains guard, looking for something off his back. 10-9 Allen.

Round 3: Amirkhani looking for counter right hooks. He shoots, stuffed. Spinning back elbow just misses Amirkhani. One minute in. BIG straight left rattles Amierkhani and another one lands clean. A third. Amirkhani with a well-timed shot that gets Allen to a knee on the fence. Amirkhani attached at the waist with two minutes to go. Nice hip toss by Allen and they scramble to their feet. Allen sprawls on a shot and scrambles out of the takedown. Allen goes for a rolling Kimura, lands on the bottom in half guard. Full guard with two minutes to go.

The referee stands them up with ninety seconds to go. Amirkhani immediately shoots once again and Allen reverses position on the fence. Allen now looking for a takedown with a minute to go. Allen muscles Amirkhani to the mat and they scramble once again. Allen takes mount, then the back and locks up a rear naked choke before the bell. 10-9 Allen.

Final result: Allen def. Amirkhani by unanimous decision


155 lbs.: Joseph Duffy vs. Reza Madadi

Round 1: Madadi goes for an early takedown, denied. Again. Straight right lands for Duffy. Another takedown and he completes this one into side control. Duffy manages to regain half guard. Madadi hauls him away from the fence and slams him down, only to get swept. Duffy on top on half guard. Madadi regains guard two minutes in. He turns for an armbar, gives up side control. Nice knee to the body from Duffy. Madadi regains half guard, two minutes to go.

Full guard. Sporadic ground-and-pound from Duffy. Madadi holding onto a front headlock, looking to lock his hands. He’s got his forearm under the chin, but can’t get it and Duffy rains down ground-and-pound. Nice elbows split Madadi’s forehead open. 10-9 Duffy.

Round 2: Side kicks from Duffy, then a right hand behind it. Duffy moving well, avoiding Madadi’s swings. Head kick blocked. Hard 1-2 and Madadi waves him on. Duffy potshotting on the fence. Madadi shoots, stuffed, spinning back fist whiffs. Single-leg denied. 1-2 by Duffy lands clean. Two minutes in. Madadi digs to the body and lands an elbow upstairs. Duffy picking him off with the jab. Two minutes to go.

Nice knee by Duffy. Left hook from Madadi in return. Madadi ducks an elbow and hits a nice takedown. Duffy pops right back up. One minute to go. Another 1-2 by Duffy. Madadi shoots, stuffed. Duffy slams a knee into his guard. Hook kick from Duffy. 10-9 Duffy.

Round 3: Duffy stuffs another takedown and lands a left hook. Madadi shoots for a single-leg, easily denied. Duffy to the body, then a stutter-step knee to the face. One minute in. Madadi goes hard for a single-leg, can’t get it. Duffy keeping him on the fence. Two minutes in. Elbow on the break. Hook kick land for Duffy and Madadi clowns. Duffy lands a low blow, Madadi doesn’t take time. Two minutes to go.

1-2 by Duffy lands clean once again. High-low-high. Leg kick, right hand. Lead-leg head kick and uppercut. This is basically a striking showcase for Duffy right now. One minute to go. Well-timed single-leg from Madadi, denied once more. Left hook from Duffy after taking an uppercut inside. Nasty body shot. Overhand right and uppercut. 205 lbs.: Francimar Barroso vs. Darren Stewart

Round 1: 2-1 lands for Stewart, who ducks a left hook and scores a takedown. Barroso staying busy with his guard and Stewart lets him up. One minute to go. Stewart lands a low blow, pausing the action. Low kick exchange. Two minutes in. Barroso with a leg kick. Stewart ties up and puts him on the fence. They separate and trade some punches before Stewart re-engages. Barroso tries to reverse, can’t and eats a knee. They separate with two minutes to g o.

Straight left lands for the Brazilian. Hard body kick, but Stewart uses it to haul him back to the fence. Barroso separates with a minute to go. Stewart puts him back on the fence right away. Barroso trips him to the mat, can’t keep him there and shoots again. Barroso looking for the back as he stands. 10-9 Stewart.

Round 2: Body kick lands for Barroso. Again. Stewart tries to tie up, but Barroso reverses and hits a takedown, looking for the back once again. One minute in. Nice slam from Barroso. Stewart back up, back down. Back up, back down. Back up, back down. Two minutes in. Stewart trying some elbows from behind. Another takedown. Barroso staying heavy in the clinch. Two minutes to go.

Knee from Stewart, uppercut from Barroso. The ref breaks them up. Overhand right from Stewart. One minute to go. Barroso with a straight right. Hard body kick lands and he puts Stewart on the fence once again. Elbow and knees by Stewart. 10-9 Barroso.

Round 3: Stewart light on his feet early on. Leg kick lands. Inside this time. One minute in. Body kick connects. Counter right from Barroso and they do some Don Frye slugging in the clinch. Barroso lands a right hand in a flurry and ties up two minutes in. Stewart defends the takedown, can’t reverse position. Knee exchange and they split. Body kick from Barroso, two minutes to go.

Combination lands for Stewart. Barroso shrugs off a takedown attempt and puts him back on the cage. Stewart reverses. One minute to go. They separate. Good 1-2 by Stewart met by a straight right. Both men exchanging and Barroso stuffs a takedown. They separate before the bell. 10-9 Stewart.

Round 1: Omielanczuk lands an early right hook and leg kick. Good uppercut met by a counter right. Another good right hook from the Pole. One minute in. Left hook to the body by Omielanczuk. Johnson tries to pursue, eats another uppercut. Johnson struggling with the speed so far. Johnson flurries and shoots on the fence. Two minutes in. Knees to the thigh. One to the body. Two minutes to go.

Right hands by Johnson as he stays heavy. Referee wants action. He splits them up with seventy seconds to go. Omielanczuk to the body again. Big right hand by Johnson and he puts him on the fence again. Omielanczuk’s takedown defense looking good. 10-9 Omielanczuk.

Round 2: Omielanczuk lands an early body kick. Leg kick checked. Right hook from Omielanczuk. Johnson with another flurry, eats a left hand and presses him against the cage. More knees to the thigh. Omielanczuk sporting a cut under his left eye; shouldn’t be an issue. Both men looking for short shots. Elbow on the exit by Johnson a little over two minutes in. Overhand left lands clean for Omielanczuk. 3-2. Johnson with a right hand. Two minutes to go.

Another flurry from Johnson and it’s back to the fence. Referee pauses the fight to admonish Omielanczuk for fingers on the face. Johnson takes him down into half guard, one minute to go. Solid punches by Johnson from the top. Omielanczuk works his way to the feet, still tied up. 10-9 Johnson.

Round 3: Johnson wades through some strikes to put Omielanczuk on the fence, looking for the hips. Omielanczuk still defending. One minute in. Short knees from Johnson as he keeps his weight on him. Omielanczuk manages to reverse position. Two minutes in. Omielanczuk looking for a takedown. Johnson forces his weight down on a front headlock and reverses position. Ref breaks them up. Good punches from both men. Double right hand by Johnson, who sprawls on a shot. Two minutes to go.

Johnson looks for a single-leg, can’t get it. Ref wants more action. Short knees by Omielanczuk. Ref breaks them up once again. One minute to go. Elbow from Omielanczuk. Right hand by Johnson in response. Omielanczuk lands a left hand and shoots. Johnson defends it. 10-9 Johnson.

170 lbs.: Leon Edwards vs. Vicente Luque

Round 1: Quick exchange and a left hand rattles Luque, who quickly gets his senses back. One minute in. They clinch and Luque brings him down on teh fence. Edwards quickly rises. Solid knee and he reverses position. Inside trip doesn’t work and Luque reverses in turn. They separate. Body kick from Edwards and a glancing head kick. Edwards tries to trip him down and winds up on his back. Two minutes to go.

Luque tries to pass to side control, settles for guard. Nice pass by Luque into side control, again can’t keep it. Staying heavy, one minute to go. Edwards gets to his knees, but can’t stand before the bell. 10-9 Luque.

Round 2: Both whiff on big left hands and Luque puts him on the fence. Edwards hits the switch and gets to the front headlock, looking for an anaconda choke. Luque waiting it out. One minute in. Luque gets free and drives in for another takedown attempt. Referee breaks them up two minutes in. Hard body kick by Edwards lands clean. Jumping knee blocked but he manages to tie up. Nice takedown into half guard. Two minutes to go.

Ground-and-pound from the Englishman. Ref stands them up with a minute to go. Edwards fires a blast double after landing a body kick, can’t get him down. Knees from Edwards on the cage. 10-9 Edwards.

Round 3: Luque on the advance, throwing heat and he shoots. Edwards defending well. One minute in. Another switch by Edwards, who looks for the back. One hook in, but Luque spins free and tries to keep Edwards down. He can’t do so and Edwards rips him with body shots. 1-2 lands clean. Edwards on the attack two minutes in and he shoots. Two more body shots on the break, then a series of nasty head shots and body shots. Luque’s drained from the body blows. Hard knee. Two minutes to go.

3-2 lands clean for Edwards. Edwards shoots, stuffed. One minute to go. Edwards doing work in the clinch, can’t get the single-leg. More left hands for Edwards but Luque’s on the attack, ripping with his own body shots. They’re trading big shots. Edwards catches a kick and scores a takedown at the bell. 10-9 Edwards.

155 lbs.: Marc Diakiese vs. Teemu Packalen

Round 1: Diakiese opens with a heavy low kick and a jumping double kick. Spinning back kick to the body. Packalen struggling to tie up. Packalen marches forward, only to walk directly into an overhand right that absolutely starches him. Packalen does his best Nate Quarry impression and hits the ground stiff as a board.

Final result: DIakiese def. Packalen by KO (punch)


185 lbs.: Scott Askham vs. Brad Scott

Round 1: Scott advancing early. Straight left lands for Askham, who eats a low kick and lands a body kick. Another one. Scott winds up for a hard leg kick. Scott’s tripping him up with almost every leg kick, but Askham’s landing well to the body. One minute in. 1-2 drops Askham and Scott lets him up. Left hand lands for Askham. Counters ding Scott. Two minutes in. Scott leg kick. Leg kick exchange. Another body kick and straight left land for Askham. Sweeping left hand. Scott with a right. Askham fakes a knee tap, eats a heavy uppercut. Two minutes to go.

Scott tries a flying knee. Heavy combination lands low-high. One minute to go. He’s pressing Askham against the cage. Askham grabs the Thai plum and lands a hard knee to the body. Scott answers in kind and puts him back on the cage. Good round. 10-9 Scott.

Round 2: Scott on the advance. Askham body kicks. Low kick from Scott, straight right lands. Straight left by Askham. 1-2 and another. He catches a low kick and takes Scott down into half guard. Scott forces his way back up and they separate. Head kick from Askham, body kick and straight left land clean. Askham doing better, but gets hobbled by a leg kick. Something’s wrong with his leg. Two minutes to go.

Uppercut lands for Scott. Left hook by Askham, who’s not moving well but does land some solid punches. Body kick by Askham. One minute to go. Scott’s left eye is now swelling up. Askham marching forward, lands a good head kick and they trade bombs. 10-9 Scott.

Round 3: Scott on the advance as Askham tosses out kicks. Low kick from Askham. One minute in. Askham keeping him at range in the early going. Good combination, Scott comes back with a 1-2. Askham working his jab. Two minutes in. 3-2 lands for the big man. They trade jabs. Hard leg kick from Scott. Another head kick from Askham, jab exchange. Two minutes to go.

Scott with a left hook. Good combination lands for him. Body kick by Askham, sharp punches form Scott. Askham body kick, Scott left hook. One minute to go. Askham on the advance, cracks him with some hard punches and a body kick. 10-9 Askham.

135 lbs.: Lina Lansberg vs. Lucie Pudilova

Round 1: Pudilova puts her on the fence, gets reversed. Knees to the thigh from Lansberg. Solid knees to the legs and body. One minute in. Referee breaks them up for inaction. Pudilova firing her jab. Left hook lands for Lansberg. Lansberg tries to put her on the fence, gets reversed and eats a knee. Two minutes in. More knees by Pudilova, eats one and some uppercuts to the head on the exit. Pudilova takes her to the fence again. Two minutes to go.

Clinch striking from both women. Head kick lands for Pudilova, who’s coming on stronger. Lansberg catches a leg kick and they trade knees inside. Pudilova puts her on the fence, lands elbows. One minute to go. Lansberg grabs the plum and drills her with a good knee and elbow upstairs. Trip attempt nearly upends Pudilova. Lansberg with knees to the body, pressing her against the fence. Pudilova still looking for a hip toss. 10-9 Pudilova.

Round 2: Lansberg catches an early kick, lands ones to the body and head. Lansberg hauls her to the fence, goes back to the knees. One minute in. Pudilova briefly reverses, then separates. Sharp left hook and jab by LAnsberg, who’s doing better in the jab battle. Two minutes in. More jabs by Lansberg. Body kick lands. Again. Right hand exchange. Teep from Lansberg, low kick checked. Two minutes to go.

Another knee in the clinch, but Pudilova comes back with a nice combination that has Lansberg looking for a single-leg. She completes it, avoiding a guillotine on the way down, and Pudilova threatens a triangle. Nothing there. One minute to go. Sporadic ground-and-pound from Lansberg. Pudilova tries to elevate, cannot do so. 10-9 Lansberg.

Round 3: Hard elbow lands for Lansberg as they exchange, then a swatting counter right. Pudilova landing her jab. Lansberg tries to clinch, eats a pair of 1-2s and she looks for the single-leg again. One minute in. Lansberg still driving, taking shots from Pudilova as she does. Browne elbows appear to hurt Lansberg and she separates. Pudilova on the attack, lands another hard 1-2. Two minutes in. Straight right by Lansberg, cross counter from Pudilova and Lansberg shoots. Pudilova defending well. Two minutes to go.

Pudilova manages to separate, lands a kick and eats a right hand. Pudilova sharpshooting with 1-2s through the guard. Teep knocks her back. 1-2-1 lands and Lansberg’s right eye looks bad. One minute to go. They continue to trade in the center. More 1-2s by Pudilova, Lansberg throwing with her. Pudilova right hand, Lansberg left hook. 10-9 Pudilova. All comes down to how they scored the first round.
