Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is giving The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 19 champion Corey Anderson headlining duties against light heavyweight power puncher Jimi Manuwa for the upcoming UFC Fight Night 107 mixed martial arts (MMA) event, locked and loaded for this Sat. (March 18, 2017) inside O2 Arena in London, England.
Anderson (9-2) bounced back from his split-decision loss to Mauricio Rua at UFC 198 to capture a technical knockout win over Sean O’Connell at UFC Fight Night 102 earlier this year and needs a big win this weekend across the pond to prove he’s more than just a flash in the pan.
A replay of what he did at TUF 19 Finale against Matt Van Buren, which took place at Mandalay Bay Events Center in July 2014, would certainly be a great start, though “Poster Boy” could prove to be a tougher nut to crack.
