Mackenzie Dern has been drawing news lately for rejecting comparisons to Ronda Rousey, who she says was never a role model. She is, however, an undefeated prospect with insane submission skills who got her most recent win tonight at Legacy Fighting Alliance 6. It was a unanimous decision win, but might have some pumping the brakes on the Dern hype train, as she couldn’t make 115 and had to get her opponent to agree to a 120-lb catchweight fight.

This moment was particularly notable for the incredible striking on display. This is basically a “caption me” challenge.

@FrontRowBrian extremely effective technique. Makes it impossible to get hit. Only defense to it is to do it right back to the opponent.

Bobs and Weaves
Come on, “DC.” Don’t mess with us like that. Especially not when we have been told Cain Velasquez doesn’t even train much anymore and won’t be fighting for a while.
Tony Ferguson has his own kind of training regime.
Mark Hunt looks pretty happy with his family, recent knockout loss and current litigation against his promoters notwithstanding.
Slips, Rips and KO Clips
Enjoy these, the first of the weekend’s combat sports spoils.
