Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) recently set the broadcast line up for the upcoming UFC 209 pay-per-view (PPV) event, scheduled for Sat., March 4, 2017 inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
A line up that is now short by one fight.
That’s because longtime somethingweight Ed Herman, 36, has been bounced from his 205-pound showdown against Igor Pokrajac due to injury, the first time “Short Fuse” has been felled by the boo-boo bug in his UFC career.
If u haven't heard Sad 2 say I'm out of my fight at #ufc209 with an injury 1st time I have ever pulled out of @ufc fight all B back soon %

The show, as they say, must go on.
Herman (23-12, 1 NC), a finalist on The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 3 way back in June 2006, has bounced around UFC for several years and racked up some notable wins, but hasn’t been able to win back-to-back fights since 2012. “Short Fuse” was last seen getting dropped by Nikita Krylov at UFC 201 in summer 2016.
