Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) lightweight fan favorite, Dustin Poirier, put on yet another “Fight of the Night” performance when he swapped fists with Jim Miller at the UFC 208 pay-per-view (PPV) event last Saturday night (Feb. 11, 2017) inside Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
Relive the madness here.
Following the bout, “The Diamond” revealed extensive damage to his lead leg, a result of his opponent’s incessant leg kicks, but was fortunate enough to escape “The Empire State” without any significant or longterm damage.
Straight from the horse’s mouth:
I'm ok no broken bones. Just a lot of pain and swelling https://t.co/rO2QZJNMN1

The victory put Poirier (21-5) back into the win column and leaves him at 5-1 since moving back up to lightweight. Currently sitting at No. 10 in the official rankings, the Miller win could improve his placement when the updates are released later this week.
