Cub Swanson vs Brian Ortega full fight video preview for UFC Fresno main event

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) kicks off its UFC Fight Night 123 mixed martial arts (MMA) event for the Save Mart Center in Fresno, Calif., TONIGHT (Sat., Dec. 9, 2017), live on FOX Sports 1 with "Prelims" on UFC Fight Pass.

Leading the charge will be longtime featherweight slugger Cub Swanson as he takes on streaking division up-and-comer Brian Ortega in the five-round main event.

Swanson (25-7) is currently enjoying a seven-fight win streak, which includes last April’s drubbing of Artem Lobov at UFC Nashville. Ranked No. 4 at 145 pounds, the former World Extreme Cagefighting (WEC) standout is inching his way closer to a Max Holloway rematch.

But it won’t be easy.

He’ll first have to dispose of No. 6-ranked Ortega (12-0, 1 NC), who quietly amassed four consecutive wins since his “no contest” against Mike de la Torre in his Octagon debut. “T-City” has finished all four of his UFC wins.

Fun fight.
