Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is sharing a preview of its “Thrill & Agony” video series on the Fight Pass digital network, airing behind-the-scenes action of all the bloodshed in the UFC 218 main and co-main events last Saturday night (Dec. 2, 2017), as both Max Holloway and Francis Ngannou destroyed their respective opponents inside Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan.
And let’s not forget about the insane war between Eddie Alvarez and Justin Gaethje.
Of particular note and one of my favorite parts of the series is the corner reactions to both winning and losing fighters. In this case, the most memorable was the team cornering heavyweight contender Alistair Overeem, who was stiffened by the uppercut from hell uncorked by 265-pound smashing machine Francis Ngannou.
Ouch.
