The 9-0 O'Malley is one of the contenders to come out of Dana White's Tuesday Night Contenders series, where he defeated his opponent via an impressive first round KO to earn a UFC contract. He followed that up with a gritty decision win over Terrion Ware in the co-main event of The Ultimate Fighter 26 Finale event, a spot on the card that shows you how much the UFC thinks of him.

The 12-5 Soukhamthath started his UFC career with a pair of questionable split decision losses but rebounded in December to beat Luke Sanders via knockout in the second round. We have no doubt that the UFC matched these guys up with the expectation that they'll go to war with each other.
UFC 222 at the T-Mobile Arena is still looking pretty sparse for fights but currently featuress an impressive middleweight fight between Hector Lombard and CB Dollaway, plus the return of Cat Zingano against Ketlen Vieira.
