Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) featherweight titleholder Cristiane Justino will square off against former women’s bantamweight champion Holly Holm at the upcoming UFC 219 pay-per-view (PPV) main event, which takes place Sat., Dec. 30, 2017 inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Justino (18-1, 1 NC) captured the crown by turning away Tonya Evinger at the UFC 214 PPV back in July, her eight straight win — and eight straight knockout finish — since departing Strikeforce back in 2011.
Holm (11-3) surrendered her 135-pound strap to Miesha Tate in early 2016, then tried to claim gold as a featherweight. Unfortunately, “The Preacher’s Daughter” came up short against Germaine de Randamie.
