Just because it’s Christmas time doesn’t mean interim UFC lightweight champion Tony Ferguson is going to hold back in his pursuit of Conor McGregor.
In fact, “El Cucuy” sent out a festive tweet earlier this week taking aim at “Notorious” and his inability to defend the UFC lightweight title. Ferguson remained in the holiday spirit, but still managed to stuff coal in McGregor’s social media stocking.
Check it out:

It will be interesting to see if McGregor takes time out of his busy schedule to respond to the interim champ. Remember, “Notorious” threw the first stone with a “Scarface” callout back in October, while Ferguson returned favor with his own “Grand Theft Auto” montage.
While nobody knows for sure what move McGregor is going to make next, Ferguson remains one of the most likely possibilities. McGregor said earlier this year that he wants to return order to the UFC’s 155-pound division so that would mean “El Cucuy” landing the hottest ticket in town early next year.
Until then, fight fans will have to fall back on comedic interactions like the one above. In the end, it’s all welcomed buildup for one of the most highly-anticipated showdowns in mixed martial arts (MMA).
