Bisping: ‘Smart’ St-Pierre is a rich prick who pulled a bitch move by dumping UFC

Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) middleweight champion, Michael Bisping, is still licking his wounds after getting choked out by Georges St-Pierre at UFC 217 last month in New York City.

“The Count” was forced to surrender his 185-pound strap to the former welterweight, who then proceeded to vacate the title and return to a life of gymnastics and ice cream, much wealthier than when he first stepped into the cage on Nov. 4.

While it was a “smart” decision to cash out with all his chips, Bisping also believes it was “a bit of a bitch move” because it led to this, according to comments the brusque Brit made on his official podcast (via MMA Fighting):

“In one respect, it’s good for me because if somebody beats you, you never want them to lose again because if they get beat, then the person that beat them, it has a negative impact on you. Like, ‘Oh, they could have beaten me as well.’ I’m the only person at 185 he ever beat, nobody at 185 is ever gonna beat him. So cheers Georges, thanks for that. But at the same time, it looks like a bit of a bitch move, you know what I mean? I don’t know anything about Georges’ bank account but I’m assuming it’s pretty swollen, it’s got plenty of money in there. So he came back, he got another belt, made history, made a ton of money, made more than me, the prick, and good for him. It’s actually really smart. Why should he carry on fighting?”

Bisping tried to carry on fighting with a quick turnaround at UFC Shanghai. Unfortunately, his plans to exorcise his demons at the expense of another former welterweight went down in flames, courtesy of a first-round knockout loss to Kelvin Gastelum.

As it stands, “The Count” is expected to compete one last time in the UFC London main event next March, though an opponent has yet to be named. Hopefully he can follow St-Pierre’s lead and call it a (wealthy) career.

If not, there’s always this.
