The insanity continued earlier tonight (Sat., Dec. 2, 2017) at UFC 218 from inside Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Mich., as lightweight finisher Paul Felder brutally stopped Brazilian submission expert Charles Oliveira via second-round TKO.
Despite needing to survive multiple chokes from hell in the early going of this fight, “Irish Dragon” was able to stomach Oliveira’s best offensive attacks. As a result, he gained the confidence to sit in the Brazilian’s guard and launch devastating elbows over the top. Oliveira eventually couldn’t take anymore punishment and the referee stepped in for the stoppage.

With this performance, Felder extends his current 155-pound win streak to three (all finishes). “Irish Dragon” has seemingly gained a more aggressive streak and it’s really beginning to show. Not only was he able to escape some of the best chokes he’ll ever run into inside of the cage, but he willingly went back down on the ground with Oliveira to finish the fight.
