The first-round finishes kept piling in earlier tonight (Sat., Dec. 2, 2017) at UFC 218 from inside Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Mich., as undefeated light heavyweight prospect Dominick Reyes added to the mix with a slick rear-naked choke finish over knockout artist Jeremy Kimball.
While Kimball came out of the gate hot and controlled the early action along the cage, it was Reyes who secured a sweeping takedown. Once in position, “The Devastator” transitioned with ease and took Kimball’s back. After landing some sharp elbows and short punches, Reyes found a home for the choke with just over one minute left in the round.

With this performance, Reyes pushes his perfect professional record to 8-0. The kid obviously has a lot of work to do if he’s going to test the light heavyweight top 15 in 2018, but he’s quickly beginning to look like the real deal at 205 pounds.
