Welcome to Midnight Mania!
Most people wouldn’t consider it advisable to prank a 255-lb. cage fighter. Don’t get me wrong- Francis Ngannou seems like a gentle giant outside the Octagon. Still, if you’ve seen him fight, your first impulse probably wouldn’t be to mess with him.
Daniel Cormier is not most people. The UFC light heavyweight champion is set to co-headline UFC 220, under Ngannou’s title fight with Stipe Miocic. That’s how he found himself in a car with Ngannou, who fell asleep. Cormier took the opportunity for one of his signature pranks- but even Cormier said he got a little nervous.
You do not want to be in the same hotel as Mike Perry if you are trying to sleep.
Ladies & Gentlemen we give you Mr Mike Perry at his finest... This clip of his Facebook Q & A in a portable sauna suit is the only video you need to watch today!— The MMA Bible (@TheMMABible) December 15, 2017

Tim Elliot isn’t getting his win bonus because he declined to fight an opponent who missed weight. Win bonuses are just a way for the UFC to take advantage of optimistic fighters in contract negotiations.
I should not get half my pay because other fighters can't do their jobs, first opponent got injured, seconds missed weight. pic.twitter.com/4IwgGEmenS— Tim Elliott (@TElliott125) December 15, 2017

Make a trip to DC and help do that with the power the Ali Act will provide.
Why is this a debate every time an opponent can't fight? Put in a standard operating procedure for the fighter who showed up. Whether its show and win money, percentage, whatever! Make it so these fighters don't have to guess how they will pay their bills. https://t.co/JHXI1mOsZS— RJ Clifford (@RJcliffordMMA) December 15, 2017
- Bisping is going to have to part with some of that sweet, sweet GSP cash, as a former manager was awarded $400,000 in a recent court ruling. Oh, and he “scuffled” with the guy before the ruling. Never change, Michael Bisping
- Freddie Roach says McGregor vs. Pacquiao would be like “ripping off the world”... unlike Mayweather-McGregor or Mayweather-Pacquiao, I guess?
- Khabib’s coach Javier Mendez is claiming that Khabib never ate that tiramisu, he never ate it, Sam I Am. Just keep telling us Christmas stories, Javier.

Some knockouts for you to start your weekend, beginning with this absolutely bonkers arm drag faceplant slam KO:
If that knockout looks familiar, that’s because Luis Gomez has done it before:
