UFC Fight Night: Swanson vs. Ortega went down from Fresno, California on Saturday night and as usual all the fighter pays were disclosed to the California State Athletic Commission, who makes the numbers public. The highest paid fighter on the roster is former WSOF champ Marlon Moraes who made $73,000 to show and $73,000 to win, plus a $50,000 finishing bonus.
Headliners Brian Ortega and Cub Swanson both talked about being under payed and you can see why. Ortega made $29k/$29k and Swanson made $76,000 total. Fortunately they got Fight of the Night and Ortega got the other finish bonus, rounding up their pay a decent amount. You can understand why both are looking for raises though.
