Ladies and gentlemen, Marlon Moraes has finally arrived!
The former World Series of Fighting (WSOF) bantamweight champion captured his first Octagon finish last night (Sat., Dec. 9, 2017) at UFC Fight Night 123 live on FOX Sports 1 from inside Save Mart Center in Fresno, Calif., when he absolutely demolished Aljamain Sterling via a perfectly timed left knee in Round 1.
Moraes was hot for the finish from the opening bell. He was aggressive and started to pull Sterling into his own gameplan. Out of nowhere the Brazilian hit a filthy left knee that instantly turned “Funk Master” into an ironing board. Sterling would stay down for an extended period of time.

With this performance, Moraes notches his second-straight win in the talented 135-pound division. He struggled to pull ahead in both of his first UFC fights so this spectacular knockout showcase comes at a perfect time.
Look for Moraes to land on the short list of potential title contenders in 2018.
