The action was relentless earlier tonight (Fri., Dec. 1, 2017) at The Ultimate Fighter 26 Finale inside Monte Carlo’s Park Theater in Las Vegas, Nevada, as three women’s flyweights made good on their Octagon debuts, each scoring individually slick first-round armbar finishes.
First up was Gillian Robertson, who put an end to Emily Whitmire in just over two minutes. The 22-year-old American Top Team product has captured all four of her professional wins by way of submission and will look to climb the ladder in the freshly-minted flyweight division next year.

Next up was Rachael Ostovich, who quickly found a way to lock up a perfect armbar on Armenian Karine Gevorgyan in just under two minutes. The 26-year-old Hawaiian is one of the more talented fighters at 125 pounds and will continue to prove she’s better than her quarter-final outing on TUF 26.

The last submission finish came at the arms of Montana De La Rosa, who took out tested veteran Christina Marks in the FS1 preliminary headliner. De La Rosa did all of her work in exactly two minutes to tap Marks and capture her sixth career submission win. The 22-year-old is going to be one of the division’s major players next year as contenders begin to rise.
