Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) presents The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 26 Finale mixed martial arts (MMA) event on FOX Sports 1, locked and loaded for TONIGHT (Fri., Dec. 1, 2017) inside Monte Carlo’s Park Theater in Las Vegas, Nevada.
TUF 26 Finale has a new main event, thanks to the scale fail from Sijara Eubanks. Taking her place is longtime veteran Roxanne Modafferi, who meets TUF 26 finalist Nicco Montano in the flyweight headliner, while Bob Honchak -- Montano’s original opponent — now meets Lauren Murphy.

Round 1: Montano pressing forward, both women staying active. Body kick and low kick from Modafferi. Combination from Montano a minute in. Montano just misses with a head kick. Body kick by Modafferi answered in kind. Modafferi ending her combinations with leg kicks. Montano grabs a body lock, avoids a trip as Modafferi takes her to the fence. They separate two minutes in. Modafferi turns for another armbar, Montano avoiding them thus far and landing as she does. Modafferi makes it up and hits a takedown into side control. Modafferi tries to pin down an arm, settles for half guard. Close round. 10-9 Modafferi for superior positioning.
Round 2: Modafferi on the attack early, landing a good body kick and flurrying with hard punches. They tie up on the fence and Montano lands a knee and elbow before they separate. One minute in. Overhand left by Montano. Things slow down a bit. Leg kick from Montano. Flurry from Modafferi two minutes in. Montano with a body and leg kick, eats a right hand. Combination lands for Montano. Round 3: Modafferi pressing foward, lands a counter right. They exchange punches in center cage. Modafferi doing well with volume at the moment. One minute in. Montano leg kick. They clinch and Montano looks for a knee before shooting in. She gets her hands together, can’t take Modafferi down but lands a right as they exit. Modafferi pops her with a jab, eats a left hand. Round 4: Back to trading in the center. Leg kick from Montano to a head kick. She’s landing better now on the advance. Leg kick, Modafferi tries to counter. 1-2 by Modafferi. One minute in. Counter right. Body kick, Superman punch. Montano with a nice combination as she backs Modafferi to the fence and ties up. Montano winds up on top, can’t keep her there but lands a body kick. Low kick from Montano, 1-2 from Modafferi. Another 1-2, Montano lands well in response. Modafferi shoots, puts her on the fence with two minutes to go.
Montano with a sneaky knee before they separate. Hard 1-2 from Modafferi and another cracking right. Again and these hurt. She overextends and Montano takes her down into half guard. One minute to go. Montano lands some decent punches before letting Modafferi up. Another tough round to score. 10-9 Montano.
Round 5: Back to exchanging in center cage. Both landing well. Montano shots and takes her down into half guard. One minute in. Montano working with elbows, lets Modafferi up after nearly getting mount. Modafferi looks for a takedown of her own and gets countered, landing on the bottom in half guard again. Montano passes to side control. Two minutes in. Montano briefly threatens an Americana, then moves to mount. Modafferi immediately spins into a takedown attempt and they separate. Modafferi puts her on the fence. Body kick and punches by Modafferi. Two minutes to go.
They clinch and Modafferi hurls knees while Montano tries to work dirty boxing. Modafferi defends a takedown with a whizzer and tries to transition to an armbar, no dice and she locks up guard. One minute to go. Left hand form Montano. Modafferi clamped down on her wrists and locks up an armbar when Montano tries to attack. She isolates the arm, only for it to slip out. Montano lets her up and they slug. Good fight. 10-9 Montano.

135 lbs.: Sean O'Malley vs. Terrion Ware
Round 1: O’Malley tries to spin early. Snap kick to the body, head kick blocked. Body kick lands and Ware comes back with a low kick. O’Malley spins and uses the rotation for a head kick. One minute in. Ware puts him on the fence, gets double underhooks. O’Malley separates. Snap kick and 1-2 from O’Malley met by a Ware right hand. Two minutes in. Head kick lands for O’Malley and Ware answers with leg kicks. 1-2 from O’Malley. 1-2 and a snap kick. Sneaky straight left. Two minutes to go.
Jab exchange, low kick from Ware. Dart left by O’Malley. Counter left as Ware ducks in. Straight left this time, another one and he angles off. Ware looks to open up on the fence and both land good shots. O’Malley hits a foot sweep and plugs him with a straight left when he stands. One minute to go. O’Malley looks like he’s found the range. Counter hook from Ware. O’Malley with a hard overhand right, eats a left hook. Big hook by Ware on the fence. O’Malley shoots, no dice, catches a kick. 10-9 O’Malley.
Round 2: Body kick lands for O’Malley. Ware with a hard low kick after eating some jabs. O’Malley working his jab, tries a shifting right. Check left. Ware to the body, eats a head kick a minute in. They tie up and O’Malley lands a knee. Counter uppercut just misses. Ware with a cross counter, looking more aggressive. O’Malley bobbing and weaving well. Ware finding the mark more often. Good right hand. Knees on the fence. Two minutes in. Straight left from O’Malley. Ware pressuring him, lands some quality right hands. O’Malley to the body and they trade hard shots. Both land big right hands and Ware’s does the greater damage. Good knee. O’Malley slops and Ware follows him into guard. O’Malley scrambles up and lands a spinning back fist. One minute to go. Ware going back to work on the fence. Now O’Malley’s found some life, slugging with him. O’Malley to the body. O’Malley leg kick and he jumps for a flying triangle. Round 3: Ware with a straight right. O’Malley firing his jab, eats a leg kick. O’Malley continues to land his jab on both sides. Spinning back kick, straight left. Big left straight as he changes levels. O’Malley steps into the clinch doesn’t come close with a hip toss. One minute in. Ware with a leg kick, overhand right and southpaw 1-2 from O’Malley. Ware to the body. WAre continues to run into the jab, finds the mark with his straight right. Two minutes in. Counter left by O’Malley. Right hook met by a Ware right straight. O’Malley tries an up-elbow and gets punched for his trouble. O’Malley countering well. Front kick to the body. They tie up, nothing really happens. O’Malley with some seriously slick punches. Heavy knee by Ware. O’Malley landing some huge shots, big punches and a wheel kick. Ware walking through everything and ties up on teh fence. O’Malley changes levels, lets Ware up, and kicks him as he rises. Outside trip by O’Malley with a minute to go. He lands in half guard and transitions to a d’arce attempt when Ware gets to his knees. Ware slips out and looks for the rear waist lock. O’Malley turns to face him and they go back to trading. 125 lbs.: Barb Honchak vs. Lauren Murphy
Round 1: Hard right lands for Honchak. another 1-2. Murphy falling short with her punches thus far. One minute in. Low kick from Honchak as she sidesteps. Overhand right lands for Murphy. Counter 1-2 from Honchak, who lands a left hook. Murphy 1-2 and counter right. Two minutes in. Nice right hand. Honchak with an inside leg kick and counter right. Good outside low kick. Two minutes to go.
Murphy counters a jab with a right hand, eats one from Honchak. Another right connects for Murphy. Honchak lands some quality shots on the counter. One minute to go. Big right hand by Murphy as she slips an uppercut. 1-2 from Murphy. Honchak with a chopping right on the counter, then another. they trade until the bell. 10-9 Honchak, barely.
Round 2: Back to the give-and-take exchanges. Counter 1-2 from Honchak a minute in. Heavy 1-2 by Honchak backs Murphy off. Murphy firing 1-2s as Honchak looks to counter. Hard 1-2 by Murphy. Murphy body kick attempt. Two-piece counter by Honchak, right cross, check hook. Big right by Murphy. Honchak in there slugging with her. BIG right hand by Murphy. Tow minutes to go.
They exchange right hands again. Again. Another right and an inside leg kick. Murphy pops her with a right. One minute to go. Murphy shoots, gets Honchak down on the fence. She looks for the back. Honchak turns and lands in guard. 10-9 Honchak.
Round 3: Jab by Honchak. Inside low kick. Counter right. Murphy fakes a level change and lands a right. Honchak again lands that chopping right. Murphy catches a kick for a takedown into guard. Two minutes in. Murphy chipping away. Honchak turns for an armbar, doesn’t have the elbow in. She converts to a triangle and this one’s deep. Two minutes to go.
Honchak transitions to an armbar and goes belly-down. Murphy gets her arm out and takes the back with a minute to go. Both hooks in . She transitions to a body triangle and stays until the bell. 10-9 Murphy.

185 lbs.: Gerald Meerschaert vs. Eric Spicely
Round 1: Straight left from Meerschaert. Hard right from Spicely not long after. Hard body kick and a straight left from Meerschaert. Meerschaert flurrying on the fence as Spicely weaves and covers up. Spicely backs him off with a right hand, lands another, and shoots. One minute in. Spicely drags him down and locks up the body triangle. Spicely looking to soften him up with right hands. Two minutes in. Spicely trying to worm his forearm under the chin. Heel strikes by Spicely. Two minutes to go.
Good handfighting from Meerschaert. Spicely still whacking away. Spicely seems to target an arm-triangle for a moment, then goes for an armbar that leaves Meerschaert on top in guard. Elbow from Meerschaert. 10-8 Spicely.
Round 2: Early takedown attempt from Spicely denied. Meerschaert firing left hands. Counter right lands for Spicely. Good body shot from Meerschaert and he puts Spicely on the cage for a moment. Round 1: Fabian opens with some quality strikes, prompting Bennett to tie up. Bennett pressing her against the fence with underhooks. They trade knees. One minute in. Short knees from Bennett. Fabian comes back with elbows. Bennett transitions to a single-leg, still can’t get the takedown. Two minutes in. Bennett still pressing her into the cage. Referee breaks them up with two minutes to go.
Body kick from Bennett. Fabian combination capped by a leg kick. Hard uppercut and straight right. Bennett lands a left hand and shoots. One minute to go. Bennett still unable to complete the takedown. Bennett pulls her down for a guillotine attempt. Good knee and they trade on the break, where Fabian appears to knock her out with a head kick. Round 2: Fabian comes out looking to pile up strikes. Bennett shoots and puts her on the fence. One minute in. Bennett has underhooks but just can’t do anything with them. She changes levels and Fabian repeatedly grabs the fence despite John McCarthy’s warnings and he deducts a point. Two minutes in. Bennett continues to struggle to drive. Two minutes to go.
Referee breaks them up, Bennett immediately shoots again. Bennett can’t take her down and Fabian can’t get away. One minute to go. Ref breaks them up again. Bennett puts her on the fence again. 9-9 with the point deduction.
Round 3: Bennett throws a body kick. Jab lands for Fabian. Leg kick from Bennett. Fabian advancing, lands a low kick a minute in. 1-2 connects. Hard right hand. Bennett catches a body kick and puts her on the fence again. Two minutes in. Ref breaks them up. Jab from Fabian with two minutes to go.

Round 1: Early exchange of punches and De La Rosa ties up. Marks reverses and lands a hard knee. More solid knees before De La Rosa reverses in turn. Right hand from Marks on the break. One minute in. Marks taches a kick and De La Rosa tries a flying armbar, winds up on her back. She adjusts and locks up the armbar. Marks tries a few different escape attempt, but eventually loses her grip and taps.
Final result: De La Rosa def. Marks by submission (armbar)
185 lbs.: Ryan Janes vs. Andrew Sanchez
Round 1: Sanchez sending out overhand rights, landing several. 1-2 connects. Another overhand and a body kick, then a blast double. Janes gets to his feet, eats a left hand in the clinch. Sanchez blasts him with a combo on the break a minute in. 1-2 from Janes connects, eats two more heavy punches. Another overhand right and Sanchez clinches. Sanchez blasts him with another combination on the break and drops him. He drills Sanchez with punches on the way up, slips, continues bombing away. Janes is eating most of what’s coming his way. More big punches. Janes somehow manages to survive and back him off. Another overhand right by Sanchez. Sanchez looks tired, lands another huge series of punches. Two minutes to go.
Janes whacks him with rights in the clinch. More punch exchanges at range. Janes with a 1-2-3. Sanchez blasts him with a left hook, lands a jab, eats a leg kick. Janes puts him on the fence. Sanchez body kick with a minute to go. Janes digs to the body. Sanchez left hook. Janes backing him to the fence, working behind his jab. Janes banging the body. 10-9 Sanchez.
Round 2: Sanchez goes back to firing heat. Spinning elbow when Janes lands a low kick. Janes knee, monstrous Sanchez right hand that Janes absorbs. Sanchez tries a double-leg, avoids a guillotine. One minute in. Sanchez catches a knee and briefly gets him down. Knee to the body by Janes in the clinch. Sanchez still pressing him into the cage, taing knees. They separate two minutes in. Janes with a right downstairs. They trade rights. Nasty liver shot by Janes and a good knee inside. Janes working him over at the moment. 1-1-2. Left hook to leg kick. Right cross. Sanchez lands a pair of hard right hands. Two minutes to go.
Janes picking him apart on the cage, shrugging off all return fire. More body shots. Sanchez ties up and hits a takedown. Janes makes it to his feet, goes back to work. One minute to go. Right hand backs Janes off. Left hook exchange, Janes gets the better of it. Sanchez blasts Janes with a huge 1-2 to no effect. Round 3: Sanchez shooting early takedowns without success. Janes with some solid dirty boxing. He tears into an exhausted Sanchez until the ref steps in.

125 lbs.: Karine Gevorgyan vs. Rachael Ostovich
Round 1: Gevorgyan advancing early. Jab from Ostovich, who hits a takedown into guard. Gevorgyan with a tight overhook, loses it and looks for an armbar. Ostovich pulls her elbow free and passes to side control, then the front headlock as Gevorgyan drives. One minute in. Ostovich transitions to the back. She’s too high and transitions to an armbar, which earns the tap.
Final result: Ostovich def. Gevorgyan by submission (armbar)
125 lbs.: Ariel Beck vs. Shana Dobson
Round 1: Both women sending out kicks early. Body kick lands for Beck, then a leg kick. Heavy leg kick by Dobson. Nifty spinning back kick by Dobson off a blocked head kick. One minute in. Dobson lands a long right hand. More kicks on both sides. Two minutes in. Leg kick from Dobson. Beck left hand, Dobson low kick trips her up. Two minutes to go.
Dobson tries a high kick, blocks one from Beck. Beck leg kick and teep. Beck clinches up, lands a knee on the fence. One minute to go. Dobson falls short with an overhand right. Dobson lands a right up top as Beck lands a left to the body. Close. 10-9 Beck.
Round 2: Dobson lands a right hand inside, kick exchange. She checks a leg kick, eats a straight left. Dobson with a hard leg kick and right hand, answered by a staright left. One minute in. Heavy combo lands for Dobson. Beck with a 1-2. Dobson tries to spin twice in a row. 1-2 from Beck. Straight left to the head, Dobson digs a right downstairs. Beck prodding the body, eats another leg kick. Suddenly, Dobson lands a pair of heavy right hands that send Beck to her knees for the finish.

125 lbs.: Gillian Robertson vs. Emily Whitmire
Round 1: Whitmire aggressive early, walks into a hard right hand. They trade and Whitmire puts her on the fence, landing on the break. Low kick from Whitmire, but Robertson takes her down. Whitmire tries to elevate her and winds up giving up her back. One hook in against the fence a minute in. Both hooks in, but Whitmire turns into guard. Robertson brings her legs up for an armbar, eats a hard right hand while she’s occupied. Whitmire isn’t as lucky the next time, as Robertson brings her shin across Whitmire’s chin and cranks on another armbar that forces the tap.
Final result: Robertson def. Whitmire by submission (armbar)
