For a company that has prided itself on unleashing its event plans well in advance, 2018 has been a bit of a mystery for us. With just two months before the end of the year, only a few events were rumored and even less were confirmed. But now we’ve got the answers for exactly what’s happening from January to March 2018.
The schedule was revealed by the UFC earlier this afternoon via newsletter and social media and gives us the details on 9 events happening in the first three months of the year. Here’s exactly what’s happening:
January 14th - UFC Fight Night (St Louis, MO)
January 20th - UFC 220 (Boston, MA)
January 27th - UFC Fight Night (Charlotte, NC)
February 3rd - UFC Fight Night (Belem, Brazil)
February 10th - UFC 221 (Perth, Australia)
February 18th - UFC Fight Night (Austin, TX)
February 24th - UFC Fight Night (Orlando, FL)
March 3rd - UFC 222 (Las Vegas, NV)
March 17th - UFC Fight Night (London, England)
Highlights include UFC 220 in Boston, UFC 221 in Perth, and UFC 222 in Las Vegas. Based on this schedule, it looks like the UFC will be keeping up a similar event pace to 2017. Nine events per quarter would work out to 34 events in 2018, and we wouldn’t be surprised to see another event tacked on to the end of March.
What do you think, Maniacs? How does the schedule look to you?
