UFC Sydney has taken another hit.

The co-main event scrap between Australia's Bec Rawlings and Scotland's Joanne Calderwood has been called off due to an undisclosed injury to Calderwood. The news was announced on Twitter via Rawlings herself, who also revealed her replacement opponent.

"Yeah sooo the bad news is Joanne Calderwood is injured & out of the fight," Rawlings wrote. "Buuuut I’m still fighting & against another tough Aussie, Jessica Rose Clarke."

Jessica Rose Clarke is better known in MMA circles as Jessy Jess, and she's scrapped her way to a 7-4 record with her last fight being a split decision win over journeywoman Carina Damm outside of the UFC. Bec also has a 7-4 record and is coming into UFC Sydney on a two fight skid against Paige VanZant and Tecia Torres.

Calderwood is the second big removal from the UFC Fight Night 121 card set to be held on November 19th from the Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney, Australia. Former headliner and Australian resident Mark Hunt was removed from the card after revealing he was suffering from symptoms of CTE in an article. He ended up being replaced by Fabricio Werdum, who will be facing Marcin Tybura.

Another scrapped bout for the Sydney event is TUF redemption winner Jesse Taylor vs Belal Muhammad (after Taylor tested positive for clomiphene). But let's take a look at the card as it stands now:

Fabrício Werdum vs.Marcin Tybura
Bec Rawlings vs. Jessy Rose-Clark
Tim Means vs. Belal Muhammad
Elias Theodorou vs. Dan Kelly
Ryan Benoit vs. Ashkan Mokhtarian
Will Brooks vs. Nik Lentz
Anthony Hamilton vs. Adam Wieczorek
Damien Brown vs. Frank Camacho
Alex Chambers vs. Nadia Kassem
Jenel Lausa vs. Eric Shelton
