Joanna Jedrzejczyk may have made peace with her surprise loss to Rose Namajunas at UFC 217, but the idea that she tapped still bothers the hell out of her. During her appearance on the latest episode of “The MMA Hour,” the dominant former women's Strawweight champ denied multiple times that she tapped out to the onslaught of strikes thrown at her by Namajunas at the end of their fight.

"People were like, I got hit, I went down, I got tapped, some people say I got tapped. I never tap. Are you kidding me?" she said. "It was probably I was trying to stand up ... it was like piece of second for me, you know? But it took a while, from the punch to the ground when she did the ground-and-pound, when I had a terrible position. But for me it was like a piece of second, but I know it was a few long seconds. It looks completely different from the thing that it is."
Watch it for yourself and see what you think.

When “The MMA Hour” host Ariel Helwani told her that the broadcast had announced she had tapped, she sounded more than a bit irritated.
"Who said that?" she asked. "I didn't tap - I didn't tap! I heard this like two times, but I didn't tap. I didn't tap. Probably I was trying to stand up, I had strength to stand up, but probably I didn't know what was going on at that time, my body, I couldn't get the right balance, you know, I couldn't work my body."
"But, I didn't tap. I never tap. And I didn't tap."
What do you think, Maniacs?
