Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is just hours away from its upcoming UFC 217 pay-per-view (PPV) event, scheduled for Sat., Nov. 4, 2017 inside Madison Square Garden in New York City.
In the five-round main event, reigning middleweight champion Michael Bisping will collide with former welterweight kingpin Georges St-Pierre, who returns from a multi-year layoff in an attempt to prove he’s still the top dog in mixed martial arts (MMA).
St-Pierre (25-2) hasn’t been seen since late 2013, walking away from combat sports in the wake of his unanimous decision win over Johny Hendricks. Bisping (30-7), meanwhile, is riding the pine with a gnarly knee injury while Robert Whittaker disposed of Yoel Romero to capture the interim strap.
