That's not exactly news, but the fact remains. The latest incident of Nate taking issue with the things White has been saying about him comes on the heels of the UFC president claiming there was never a real offer to fight Tyron Woodley on the table.
According to White, that was a UFC employee 'going off the reservation' and offering stuff that wasn't official. Tyron Woodley took offense to that characterization, and it looks like Nate Diaz has too. The Stockton fighter uploaded an Instagram video with the specific quote from White followed by footage of Nate slapping Dana upside the head -- something that came about as part of the deal to make McGregor-Diaz 2 a reality.
Nate captioned the video "Shutup bitch. You're both thirsty ... And why is u lying?"
Diaz hasn't fought since making an estimated $2 million dollars in the second McGregor fight. A third fight between the two is widely expected, and Nate seems perfectly content to sit on the sidelines until it comes to fruition. According to White, the UFC continues to offer the Diaz brothers opponents but they continue to turn them down. But that probably has more to do with the price tag attached.
Considering Nate's two fights with Conor were the two biggest pay-per-view events in UFC history, he's looking for a bigger chunk of cash to compete, one the UFC is completely unwilling to shell out. So now we're stuck watching the two sides swipe at each other through the press and social media. Oh well. I guess it's still kind of entertaining.
