Tony Ferguson wants ‘irrelevant fragile fat ass’ Khabib Nurmagomedov to shut up and take a number

Khabib Nurmagomedov recently caused a stir after he revealed Tony Ferguson declined to sign on the dotted line to defend his interim Lightweight title against him at UFC 219 on Dec. 30, 2017 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Even current Light Heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier got in on the action, coming to aide his training partner in an attempt to pressure Tony to accept the bout. More recently, “The Eagle” took to social media to call out the division for only speaking his name when he’s on the sidelines.

That didn’t sit too well with Ferguson, as he scoffed right back at the often-injured contender.

Indeed, a fight between Khabib and Fergsuon has been booked three times before but ultimately cancelled for one reason or another, so you can’t blame Ferguson for meeting the challenge with resistance.

Nevertheless, it seems Ferguson and Khabib won’t be trying to throw down for a fourth time anytime soon, which means “The Eagle” will go on and take on Edson Barboza as planned at the year-end pay-per-view (PPV) event.

As for Tony, he’s still hoping Conor McGregror will finally strap up his boots to fight him in a title unification match. He’ll have to wait at least another five months to make it happen.
