You can add Manny Pacquiao to the long list of boxers chomping at the bit to fight Conor McGregor.

Pacquiao spent years at the top of the pound for pound greats list and his fight with Floyd Mayweather was the biggest combat sports event in history. But Manny's star faded following his decision loss to Floyd, and he's been having trouble finding big fights for himself.

Enter Conor McGregor.

Here's what Manny posted to Instagram this morning:

Happy Thanksgiving! Stay fit my friend. #realboxingmatch #2018 @thenotoriousmma

"Happy Thanksgiving!” Pacquiao wrote. “Stay fit my friend. #realboxingmatch #2018"

Pacquiao has said he'd box McGregor in the past, but that was just him answering a question asked by the media. In this case it looks like he's reaching out unprompted to guage the reaction and interest in a fight between the two.

Manny isn't the only boxer who wants to fight McGregor. There's Paulie Malignaggi, but the less said about that the better. Oscar De La Hoya recently revealed he's gone so far as to start training for a shot at McGregor. And Jeff Horn, the man who defeated Manny in July and took his WBO belt, would also like McGregor in Australia.

Like Conor said recently, he's got a whole lot of options to choose from. And unfortunately for the UFC, most of them seem to involve making a lot more money than a fight with interim lightweight champ Tony Ferguson would.
