Submission! Watch Nik Lentz choke out Will Brooks at UFC Fight Night 121

Former training partners collided earlier tonight (Sat., Nov. 18, 2017) at UFC Fight Night 121 live on FOX Sports 1 from inside Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney, Australia, as lightweight scrapper Nik Lentz came from behind to submit former Bellator MMA champion Will Brooks via second-round guillotine choke.

It was all Brooks in the early going. The athletic lightweight utilized footwork, head movement, hand speed, and shot selection to pick Lentz apart, avoiding damage and bloodying his adversary up. But after an ill-advised takedown in the second round, Lentz caught Brooks snoozing and locked in the tight guillotine choke.

With this performance, Lentz gets back into the win column in a big way after losing a decision to Islam Makhachev back at UFC 208. The long-time veteran still shows signs of improvement at 33 years of age and could work his ways towards the top 15 in 2018 with another finish like this one.
