Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) light heavyweight champion Rashad Evans was hoping for a new lease on his combat sports life, dropping down to middleweight after coughing up two straight.

Unfortunately for “Suga’,” the change in weight did little to improve his results and now The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 2 champion is back where he started, thanks to consecutive decisions losses at 185 pounds.

Which is why he’s moving back up to light heavyweight, according to MMA Fighting, just as soon as he’s had time to get his body back to the size it needs to be in order to stay competitive.

Evans (19-7-1) turned 38 back in September and has not seen the win column in nearly four years. In addition, health scares (like this one) have cast a long shadow over his future in mixed martial arts (MMA).

Who should he fight in his return to 205 pounds? I know a guy who’s not busy.
