Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) welterweight No. 1 contender, Dan Hardy, is no longer competing in mixed martial arts (MMA) after running into heart trouble a few years back, but that hasn’t kept him away from the combat sports limelight.
Where he still manages to garner his share of call outs.
So it should come as no surprise to learn “The Outlaw” was unimpressed with Conor McGregor’s apology on social media (read it), an attempt to disband the Internet lynch mob still chafed over the Irishman’s meltdown at Bellator 187.
From Twitter:
Apologize at the start and finish of the statement, but put your real thoughts/excuse in the middle. That's called a #ShitSandwich pic.twitter.com/hINrxVlkWz

I wouldn’t worry about Bellator being butthurt.
The closest I ever got to a shit sandwich was my wife’s meatloaf, so I can’t really comment on how close McGregor got to the actual bread-and-poo combination, but his actions apparently got him yanked from the UFC 219 pay-per-view (PPV) this December in Las Vegas, Nevada.
