We knew it was happening. Now we know where.
Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) has rubber stamped a battle of middleweight strikers for its upcoming UFC Fight Night 124 mixed martial arts (MMA) event on FOX Sports 1, which takes place Sat., Jan. 14, 2017 inside Scottstrade Center in St. Louis, Missouri.
Vitor Belfort vs. Uriah Hall.
Belfort (26-13, 1 NC) recently returned to the win column with unanimous decision win over Nate Marquardt at the UFC 212 pay-per-view (PPV) event back in June. Hall (13-8), meanwhile, snapped a three-fight losing streak when he stopped Krzysztof Jotko at UFC Fight Night 116 last September.
Elsewhere on the card, Thiago Alves returns to welterweight action against the rough-and-tumble Zak Cummings, while Michael Johnson plays the role of “Menace” opposite lightweight stalwart Darren Elkins.
No main event has been announced for UFC Fight Night 124 at this time; however, you can expect that to change sooner, rather than later.
