Bellator 188: “Lahat vs. Labiano” comes to Menora Mivtachim Arena in Tel Aviv, Israel, tomorrow night (Thurs., Nov. 16, 2017), airing on Spike TV via tape delay the following evening (Nov. 17, 2017). The main event features former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and current Bellator fighter Noad Lahat (11-3, 2-1 Bellator) facing Jeremiah Labiano (11-5, 2-1 Bellator) as each seeks a third win in Bellator’s Featherweight division.
Before the fights took place, though, Lahat and fellow Bellator 188 fighter Haim Gozali (7-4), as well as Bellator Heavyweight Fedor Emelianenko (36-5, 1 NC) and Bellator ambassador Royce Gracie, met with Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu in Jerusalem.
Bellator’s press release said that, “Netanyahu expressed his support for the upcoming Bellator event in Tel Aviv later this week.” The event is Bellator’s second show in Israel following Bellator 164 in Nov. 2016, a show where Douglas Lima beat Andrey Koreshkov to reclaim the Welterweight world title.
