Combate Americas tied a ribbon around its “Copa Combate” weigh in event earlier today from inside Oasis Grand Resort in Cancun, Mexico, which featured a couple of important changes to tomorrow night’s (Sat., Nov. 11, 2017) bantamweight tournament.
Andres Ayala and Ricky Palacios were both pulled from the eight-man elimination tournament, featuring a $100,000 grand prize, after failing to make the 135-pound limit. They’ll be replaced by Alejandro Abomohor and Levy Marroquin, respectively.
The live Telemundo and NBCSN coverage of Copa Combate will include the entire semifinal stage of the eight-man tournament, as well as the championship stage showdown and the women’s strawweight co-main event between Melissa Martinez and Gloria Bravo.
The entire quarterfinal stage of the tournament, as well as the two tournament alternate bouts and the women’s atomweight preliminary matchup between Sheila Padilla and Lisbeth Lopez Silva will stream live on the Telemundo Deportes En Vivo app and TelemundoDeportes.com, beginning at 9 p.m. ET/8 p.m. CT.
