UFC 216: Nik Lentz vs Will Brooks canceled after ‘The Carny’ bounced for weight-cutting issues

MMA: UFC 203-Lentz vs McBride John David Mercer-USA TODAY Sports

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) was forced to cancel the lightweight bout between Nik Lentz and Will Brooks, after “The Carny” failed to show up for the UFC 216 weigh ins and was ruled medically unfit to compete.

“Ill” was on point at 156 pounds.

The pair were scheduled to collide on the FX portion of the UFC 216 prelims, which take place tomorrow night (Sat., Oct. 7, 2017) inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. Expect a bout from the UFC Fight Pass line up to fill the existing hole.
