The cornerman who slugged UFC veteran Norman Parke just got banned for nine months

KSW

Gentlemen! We're on national television! Gentlemen!

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) 155-pound veteran Norman Parke went to war with international lightweight sensation Mateusz Gamrot in the co-main event of KSW 40 earlier this month in Dublin, Ireland, a rematch of their controversial contest at KSW 39.

And, just like their first go-round, things went south in a hurry.

After the bout was ruled a “no contest,” thanks to some shenanigans from both sides, a post-fight melee erupted and cornerman for Gamrot, Marcin Bilman, cold-cocked Parke square in the face because (duh) fighting solves everything.

As a result, Bilman was fined and banned from cornering anyone in KSW for a total of nine months. Parke was also fined for approaching the opposing corner and initiating the scuffle, though exact amounts were not disclosed.
