Colby Covington picked up a big win last night (Sat., Oct. 28, 2017) at UFC Fight Night 119, taking out Demian Maia via decision in what proved to be a bloody affair (video highlights).
Afterward, “Chaos” once again decided to call out current Welterweight champion Tyron Woodley. And “The Chosen One” was not impressed, with the challenge or Colby’s performance.
He changed his name to Colby "Cotton Fist" Covington. Or Easy Money Covington. Sum like that. I'm embarrassed he was proud of that https://t.co/cVDPnB7e5T

Please teach him how to respectfully earn a shot. https://t.co/3Nf6pGcHST

Indeed, Covington has made it a habit to bash Woodley at every turn, threatening to “bitch slap” him with an interim title and expose his weaknesses as he claims he did during past training sessions.
But, it seems Woodley isn’t entertaining an idea of a title fight against Covington at the moment, and judging by most of the UFC roster, it seems “Chaos” isn’t ready for a title shot after last night’s performance.
Were you impressed with Colby’s win? Or does the fast-rising contender need another (maybe more) win to get into title contention?
