The man known as “Shoe Face” struck again earlier tonight (Sat., Oct. 28, 2017) at UFC Fight Night 119 live on FOX Sports 2 from inside Ginasio do Ibirapuera in Sao Paulo, Brazil, as talented grappling expert Antonio Carlos Junior easily submitted Jack Marshman early into their preliminary encounter.
After tying Marshman up along the cage, “Shoe Face” took the Welsh striker down and quickly moved into full mount. Once there, Carlos Junior peppered Marshman with strikes until he turned over, gave the Brazilian his neck, and proceeded to tap to a tight rear-naked choke.

With this performance, Carlos Junior extends his current UFC win streak to four. This is his fourth submission finish since entering the promotion in 2014 and more evidence that “Shoe Face” may be ready for ranked competition his next time out. At 27 years of age, the gigantic middleweight deserves a big opportunity his next out, especially if it comes back on home soil.
