We’re a little less than two weeks away from the upcoming UFC 217 pay-per-view (PPV) event, which will see Michael Bisping defend his Middleweight title against former Welterweight champion, Georges St-Pierre, inside Madison Square Garden in New York City on Sat., Nov. 4, 2017. And that means the world’s leading mixed martial arts (MMA) promotion is ramping up its promotional efforts for the mega-event.
But, first things first: UFC has shined the spotlight on the other two title fights that same night, which will see Bantamweight champion Cody Garbrandt defend his title against friend-turned rival T.J. Dillashaw in the co-main event of the evening. The hatred between both men has intensified over the last few months, with their rivalry boil over during filming of The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) earlier this year (see it again here). Now, the former training partners get to finally settle their differences inside the Octagon after a previous setback.
Rounding out the trio of championship fights is long-time women’s Strawweight champion Joanna Jedrzejeczyk searching for her sixth straight title defense when she faces off against No. 1 contender, Rose Namajunas.

Indeed, UFC 217 is without a doubt one of the most stacked cards of the year and will also have an intriguing Welterweight showdown between Stephen Thompson and Jorge Masvidal.
