Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is less than two months away from its upcoming UFC 218 pay-per-view (PPV) event, which is set to go down on Sat., Dec. 2, 2017 inside Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan.
UFC 218 will be headlined by featherweight title fight pitting current 145-pound champion Max Holloway opposite former lightweight kingpin Frankie Edgar, as well as a co-main event slugfest between heavyweight bruisers Alistair Overeem and Francis Ngannou.
All four competitors were featured on the full poster for UFC 218.
UFC 218 will also feature a pivotal lightweight scrap as former titleholder Eddie Alvarez faces World Series of Fighting (WSOF) import (and fellow TUF coach) Justin Gaethje, while Henry Cejudo -- despite a burnt foot — takes on flyweight contender Sergio Pettis in what could be a title eliminator fight at 125 pounds.
