Demetrious "Mighty Mouse" Johnson has largely cleaned out his 125 pound division, leaving many to wonder who he might face next. One strong possibility was the winner of the Henry Cejudo vs. Sergio Pettis fight going down at UFC 218 on December 2nd from Detroit, Michigan.

But the terrible wildfires that are sweeping through California may have just nixed that. According to a report from The San Francisco Chronicle, Cejudo broke his ankle jumping off a balcony to escape the fires. Henry was just one of several athletes in Santa Rosa attending a celebrity fundraiser. Kansas City pitcher Bret Saberhagen was the one who told the Chronicle what happened.

The report was confirmed by Matheus Aquino, who manages some of Cejudo's training partners.

There's been no word from Cejudo or the UFC regarding the injury or how serious it is, but it's fair to wonder whether Henry will be able to compete in under two months. At least he’s safe. And with this much time to spare, the UFC should be able to find a replacement to face Pettis.
