Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is ready to start 2017 with a bang, as the leading mixed martial arts (MMA) promotion stages UFC Fight Night 103 this Sunday night (Jan. 15, 2016) from inside Talking Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix, Arizona.
The Fox Sports 1 event will be headlined by a much-anticipate Featherweight bout, as former two-division champion BJ Penn will make his long-awaited return to action as he takes on rising contender, Yair Rodriguez.
It’s an intriguing matchup which pits one of the most revered legends in all of mixed martial arts (MMA) against an exciting prospect that has all the makings of a future champion.
The promotion takes a closer look at both "The Prodigy" and "Pantera" in the special "Countdown to Rodriguez vs. Penn" preview special that aired on FOX Sports 1 earlier this evening just a week before they’re set to hook ‘em up in Phoenix.
