Jimi Manuwa vs Corey Anderson promoted to UFC Fight Night 107 main event in London

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) has finally settled on a main event for its upcoming UFC Fight Night 107 mixed martial arts (MMA) event, locked and loaded for Sat., March 18, 2017 inside O2 Arena in London, England.

I doubt it’s going to knock your socks off.

The five-round headliner, topping the UFC Fight Pass digital stream, will be the previously-announced light heavyweight showdown pitting local hero Jimi Manuwa opposite American interloper Corey Anderson.

MMA Junkie brought word of the fight card update on Monday.

Manuwa (16-2) rebounded from his brutal knockout loss to Anthony Johnson at UFC 191 by delivering an equally-violent finish against light heavyweight contender Ovince Saint-Preux at UFC 204 back in October.

Anderson (9-2), meanwhile, bounced back from his split-decision loss to Mauricio Rua at UFC 198 to capture a technical knockout win over Sean O’Connell at UFC Fight Night 102 just last month.

That folks, is your new headliner. Elsewhere on the card, longtime MMA veteran Brad “One Punch” Pickett will compete in the final fight of his combat sports career against bantamweight stalwart Henry Briones.
